A model for the mind
Looking and listening to yourself and each other through art

In recent years, it has become increasingly clear to me that I create art primarily to interact with myself and then with the viewers of my work. While participating in exhibitions and art fairs, I saw and spoke to a) visitors who were looking for decorative, colorful paintings for their homes and b) curious visitors whose questions or emotions were evoked by my work. The conversations that ensued confirmed for me that this is my mission: to bring people more into contact with themselves through my art. Because my work seems to contribute to awareness. When I heard that the space next to my current studio was becoming available, I decided to incorporate it into my studio as a gallery and create an opportunity for people to come and view my work and let it affect them. And all this in an atmospheric ambiance, possible as a fully catered outing if desired.

Opening
The opening is on Friday evening, April 17. Mark that date in your calendar!
Starting in April, you are welcome to organize a group outing by appointment. Groups of up to about 10 people can book a package of about 2.5 hours for €380, including an interactive tour* and a vegan tapas platter. The optional snacks will be announced here soon. An interactive tour without catering is available for €180. A tour with me included is available for an additional €200.

Would you like to come and have a look, without obligation?|
Open hours are Tuesdays and Fridays between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Outside these hours, you can make an appointment to visit the gallery. We will then ensure that someone is available to welcome you. For the thinkers among us, philosophical questions hang between the works, inviting you to let your thoughts wander.

VTS tours
*The interactive tours are provided by Maarten Maas of eMeLeM. Based on the Visual Thinking Strategy, you are invited to observe thoroughly and thus stimulate critical thinking, perception, and communication. Without talking about right or wrong, but building on each other’s perspectives. A fun activity for colleagues, family, friends, or students who want to connect on a deeper level. It is enjoyable to look at things together, and listening to each other creates a sense of connection.
