I want to make the invisible tangible and the tangible visible.
As a visual artist, I am often looking for a representation of the spirit of man, as an invisible and intangible presence. I let my work be guided by emotions, which become visible by expressing them. I also let my blind and visually impaired students transform their invisible world of experience into a tangible work of art. Who else can do this better than them?
They inspire me in the field of multi-sensory perception and I like to share that with others.
Not only with our eyes, but with our whole body we take in and send out signals. Our body is the primary means to learn to understand ourselves and the world in which we live. Therefore the body often is the starting point for the imagination of my themes.
The themes on which I work usually take shape when in the process the pieces of the puzzle fall into place. On this website you can find an overview of these themes.
