‘I want to make the invisible tangible and the palpable visible’
I’m exploring the invisible, the space between the familiar. Not only with our eyes, but with our whole body, we record and transmit signals. Our body is the primary means to better understand ourselves and the world we live in and therefore often the starting point for the imagination of the themes that occupy me.
I often look for an imagination of the human mind, as an invisible and intangible presence. I also have my blind and partially sighted students transform their invisible world of experience into a tangible piece of work. Who else can do this better than them?
They inspire me in the field of multi-sensory perception and I like to share this with others. At an unexpected moment during the process, the pieces of the puzzle fall into place for me. On this website you will find a visual overview of the themes that occupy me.
Have fun looking at my work and reading my texts. If you have any questions or interest you can mail me.
